About Futian No.6 Pit

「Futian No.6 Pit」theme park was officially opened in May, 2009, formed by a group of professionals of different fields, including enterprises, publicists, local artists, non-profit groups and educational groups. The major operating items are business planning and consulting management in the cultural and creative industry.

To be a model of educational zone in culture and creative industry combining the native culture, Futian is the first one in Taiwan to simulate archaeology site and to create large multi-ethnic installation arts in order to show their ideas.

Park Introduction

「Futian No.6 Pit」is located in Nantou, Puli, 6600 m2, which is a place reproduce the prehistoric life and allows people to realize and imagine thow prehistoric man live.

「Futian No.6 Pit」 is divided into eight exploration pits with four major themes, including the natural sciences (paleontological archaeology), the civilized craftwork (antiquity archaeology), the cultural life (settlement archaeology) and the life education (burial archaeology). 「Futian No.6 Pit」is designed as a simulated archaeological site with both educational and entertaining functions.

Besides, Futian No.6 Pit Educational Theme Park also has plotted out six areas, including "Industrial Village Ruins Area", "Multi-ethnic Bamboo Center", "Kiln Time Theatre", "Pottery Arts Cafe", and 「Creative Arts & Humanities Courtyard」.
